John Hanson

John Hanson founded KBC Advisors in 2016 with hopes of disrupting and revolutionizing an industry. Throughout his career, John has been involved in successful capital acquisition, lease and sale transactions totaling a value of over $20B in total consideration. He has empirically driven 20% to 30% operating cost savings to his clients, involving over 600 separate projects and 150 million square feet in volume. Prior to founding KBC Advisors, John held executive roles at Trammell Crow Company and Cushman & Wakefield Commerce. During his career, he has managed complex transactions for prominent corporate and institutional clients throughout the Seattle region, nationally and globally. John’s primary expertise as of late has focused on e-commerce and logistics. However, he has also been instrumental in the formulation and implementation of real estate strategies focused on cost initiatives and effective portfolio management. John has also managed strategic site selection, incentive negotiations and Foreign Trade Zone initiatives for a wide array of complex projects. On the personal side, John has been married to his very patient wife for over 20 years. They have a family of three boys, so their hobbies include cleaning up dirty clothes, making multiple meals at the same time, one word conversations and driving/flying to various sporting events.
