Michael Kimmel joins KBC after nearly a decade at Cushman & Wakefield where he covered the New Jersey and Baltimore industrial markets and everywhere in between (insert picture of a dog chasing a bone). As a glorified cold caller, Michael feels fortunate to have concluded his time as a Managing Director at C&W, where he ranked within the top 40 of all brokerage producers in the Americas.
Michael’s areas of expertise include off-market sale transactions, tenant representation (renewal vs. relocation analysis – both local and national), and landlord representation. Over the past 3 years in NJ as the team’s unofficial walk-on, Michael’s efforts led to over $117 million in sales volume, 50 tenant rep deals totaling just over3.5mm square footage, and multiple hot coffees successfully delivered during landlord presentations to his elderly partners. Tenant clients have included Piramal Glass, Turtle & Hughes, Legacy Converting, PrimeSource Building Products, and Ahold USA. Landlord clients include Black Creek Group, Duke Realty, Link Industrial, PGIM, and PLD among others.
Michael enjoyed playing professional lacrosse during the first 5 years of his career at C&W. For now, when Michael is not getting the phone hung up in his face, he can be found with his wife, chasing and cleaning up after their two little ones.
Michael started his real estate career in 2013. Prior to joining KBC Advisors, Michael was with Nelson Realty Advisors, where he worked through government contracts to procure property, construct, and lease office buildings throughout Washington State. He has developed an in-depth knowledge of each step of the development process, from construction timelines, budgeting, approvals, and contract negotiations.
Outside of work, he enjoys watching English Premier League soccer, skiing, cooking, and traveling. It is possible he’s on some kind of government watchlist for traveling to every communist country in the world.
Nick Borzi was born and raised in Southern California, before making the arguably questionable decision to trade the sun and warmth for cold winters and an undergraduate degree at Boston University. Having majored in International Relations and minored in Economics, Nick graduated in 2018 and continued his east coast tour by taking a job at MRP Realty, a GP developer-owner based out of Washington D.C.. Nick worked there for two years as an analyst for new acquisitions and existing investments across nearly all asset types. During his time there, he underwrote land, industrial, office, and multi-family assets in addition to executing business plans for existing investments.
Fun fact, Nick was nearly recruited to the University of Hawaii for... glassblowing. He hasn't touched it since 2014, but insists that, "he will pick it up again if he ever has the time." Nick currently loves playing tennis, rock climbing, and surfing more poorly than when he had access to the outside world for more than 3 months out of the year.
Nick joined KBC in June of 2020 after graduating from the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!). While attending UW, Nick played for the club baseball team. When he wasn’t diligently studying for exams, he was supporting the Huskies at Husky Stadium. Nick also interned at Merrill Lynch. Following in his sister’s footsteps, he was also enrolled in Army ROTC. He spent his summers with the Army, going to Fort Knox twice and West Point once. Nick commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer, and actively serves with the Washington Army National Guard.
Education: University of Washington, B.A. Business Administration, Finance Concentration, Leadership Minor from the Military Science department
Omar joined KBC in January 2021 after spending 6 years at a real estate services company where he was responsible for industrial project management, most recently as the Industrial Lead for the western region. Following his time in the Peace Corps, Omar spent time managing start-up operations at a number of Amazon’s distribution centers around the country. He acquired his real estate license in 2020 and is eager to learn about the real estate transactional world, and equally happy to share his vast knowledge of industrial construction with the team.
Born in Colombia and raised in NYC city, Omar moved to Seattle two years ago. When not dealing with a pandemic, he likes to spend his time indulging his under-achieving athletic abilities while snowboarding, running half marathons, and aiming little balls at slightly less little holes from very long distances, otherwise known as golf.

Paul began his commercial real estate career in 2003 and focused exclusively on industrial tenant representation in the greater Atlanta area. During this time, he worked for The Staubach Company, which later merged with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), and held various leadership positions within the supply-chain and logistics practice group. In 2010, Paul created Blackbird™, JLL’s proprietary and patented geospatial intelligence program. The development of Blackbird opened the door to a broad range of real estate transactions across all product types and disciplines. Prior to joining KBC, Paul left brokerage for five years to work for Brookfield’s growing logistics platform as Global Head of Corporate Development. This unique role brought together the complementary efforts of business development, marketing, branding, communications and innovation under one umbrella in an effort to respond more effectively to customer needs in ever-changing markets. Additionally, Paul assisted with acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and internal forecasting while sitting on the senior team for both operating platforms – IDI Logistics (US) and Gazeley (EU). Ultimately, the call to work closer with the end-user led Paul back into brokerage and to KBC Advisors. This well-rounded experience, in a wide variety of global and local markets, yields a dynamic perspective focused on solving his client’s most complex real estate needs.
On a personal note, Paul enjoys coaching his kids’ teams. Just last year led his son’s 2nd grade intramural basketball squad to a perfect 8-0 season, an experience he took too seriously, given his historic disappointment as a lifelong Atlanta area sports fan.

Ryan was born in Denver, grew up in Chicago, and currently finds comfort in his not so sleepy surf town of Hermosa Beach, California. Looking back, he began his illustrious commercial real estate career at the worst time in industrial real estate history. Ryan had to cold call his way through 5+ years at Grubb & Ellis, had a pit stop at Newmark, Grubb, Knight, Frank, and ultimately settled down at Cushman & Wakefield, where he specialized in National Tenant Representation and Investment Sales and Agency Leasing. He was consistently recognized in the Los Angeles Business Journal as a top producer within the Los Angeles area along with acquiring several Costar Power Broker awards.
On a personal note, Ryan was a former All-American, lefty pitcher for the Northwestern University baseball team. However, since he married his beautiful wife, Amanda, he is now associated with the familiar football term “out kicked his coverage”. He spends his time chasing his 2 kids, Vance and Drue, around their beach bungalow while enjoying the background noise of the same kids' tv shows on repeat. Ryan also love Electronic Dance Music far more than he should being that he is a 40+ year old Dad.
Ryan began his commercial real estate career with Trammell Crow Company (which became CBRE in 2006) in 1997. During Ryan’s 23 year career at CBRE, he focused on representing corporate users for their real estate needs on a global basis. He takes pride in being a fierce advocate for his clients’ interests and brings value to projects through a deep understanding of his clients’ business needs and his ability to strategically solve for the optimal real estate solution from a real estate, labor, transportation, tax, and economic inventive perspective. Since 1997, Ryan has managed more than 700 transactions totaling over 50 million square feet in over 70 U.S. markets and 8 countries.

Originally from Syracuse, New York, Tony moved to Dallas in 1994 to attend Southern Methodist University where he studied real estate and finance. During his final two years at SMU, he worked as an intern for Hillwood on the industrial team at Alliance Texas. Coincidentally, Tony’s senior year Entrepreneurship class project was an online grocery delivery business called Grocery Express, an idea most likely driven by his voracious appetite and couch-potato tendencies, although he claims it was his clear vision for the future of e-commerce!
Upon graduating from SMU, Tony started working at Hillwood full-time in a career that would span over 22 years. He most recently led the planning and implementation of the industrial building program at Hillwood’s 27,000-acre Alliance Texas development. In this role he supported a wide range of projects for both institutional and private clients pertaining to lease transactions, development and capital markets. Before Trace stepped foot in commercial real estate, he was a shortstop for WSU and found his way into the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system, reaching the AAA level.
